I have a 6255i with nTelos as my provider. I don't seem to be able to
receive SMS messages or download ringtones. Am I doing something wrong or is
nTelos just not supported for these things?

Unless I'm mistaken, the Nokia 6255i is a CDMA phone, not GSM.
So you might not be able to get much help from this GSM group.

The obvious thing is to ask nTelos directly, of course. Or a
group like alt.cellular-phone-tech.
