I have been given a task at work and I need to understand what happened
during calls from a GSM cell phone: for example, when someone call a cell,
what are the different messages (no need to be too technical about the
different protocols used) transmitted from the tower and the receiver. i.e.:
1)server received notification of an incoming call 2)server locates where
the cell client is 3)nearest tower sends a control message to lient 4)...
etc... everything until the phone rings and the users pushes the "green"
button.
Thanks to the experts.
