Hi Luke,
It?s very simple. The counter of the index is oly one BYTE (256
combinations). This are definided in the GSM 11.11 protocol. Your SIM
haven?t got a file with more of 256 registers (Address Book , SMS, ect...)
The Trick is make more than one address book of 250 positions.

Hola Senyor Graham.
Hmm, this is interesting.
Regarding the subject of phonebook storage, might
you be aware of some open-source wap-based online
application out there that can enable me to back
up phonebook and SMS data using wap storage for
wireless retrieval/download later?
This way, my wap phone can simply browse my personal
wap site and perform data restoration wirelessly
even if I am away from my personal computer's
hard disc backup.
This way, also, I can better manage my on-phone
storage and keep the memory space utilization
within comfortable limits in view of the limited
on-phone capacity.
Gracias y saludos from Asia! Thanks for any tip or
referal on this matter.
