On many touch screen phones, you would find that while talking, when th
ear touches the screen, it activates some button that you didn’t wante
it to.
How does iPhone manage this? It has a proximity sensor. The proximit
sensor switches off the touch screen when you take the phone close t
your ear, and turns it back on when you take it off. Simple technolog
but extremely practical

iPhone is an amazing device and it has certainly raised the bar in man
aspects and the way we go about managing our business on a phone. On
more thing it has successfully managed to do is that it has pushe
every other manufacturer back to the drawing board
