I subscribed to the $10 unlimited T-zones.  I then attempted to
connect my SonyEricsson phone via infrared port to my PC as a modem.
It worked, and I got onto the Internet at about dialup speed!
Customer Service said this shouldn't have worked, and I am supposed to
use the $20 a month unlimited internet package.

To connect the phone as an infrared modem, you dial *99***1# (or 2# or
3#.  One is for T-zones, one for T-mobile internet, and one is a
backup server.

This is a well known loophole.
