Which GSM network has best coverage in L.A.?  Even the ATTWS sales people
say their network isn't built out yet and to stay away from it for at least
another year.  T-Mobile and Cingular are known as a "freeway service" only,
and don't penetrate buildings in many areas, including the place where I
work.  For its technology and international roaming I prefer GSM and would
rather stay away from Sprint and Verizon for those reasons, although these
networks reportedly have good coverage.

I wish AT&Tws would have been that honest about their GSM in new
jersey.  Especially after having their TDMA service work GREAT! for many
years. I think you should wait on the GsM, till the networks get built
up more.
