Yes, you will have a different phone number with the Far Eastern SIM. Your
family would dial the international access code 011 plus the country code
plus the SIM's phone number.
Have you tested your T610 to discover if it is SIM-locked to T-Mobile?
You'll
need a SIM from some other service provider (ATT, Cingular, Einstein, Fido,
etc. It don't need to be on an active account). If it is, you'll want to
request that SIM unlock code from T-Mobile right now.
If you want to use T-Mobile at all, have you had international roaming
and international dialing turned on for your account?
That's all I can think of.
