Part of our problem in this country, we make nothing and consume everything.
Eventually this will catch up with us....

| Similarly, I wouldn't complain if I am paying 1/4th of the price to buy
| a "pirate" battery which does not fit in my Nokia.
oh..it was 1/9th the price... but still for 10USD equivalent, I'd expect
them to make a decent clone that fits.
| If everything with Made in Taiwan on them are so "crap", why do you even
| bother buying them? why not stop using them? better yet, open up your
| computers, TV, Hi-Fi, any electronics you own, everything in your
| closet, if you see anything says Made in Taiwan or Made in ROC, just
| clear them out of your way, and we shall see how many "Taiwan Junks"
| you've bought.
unfortunately i see a lot of made in indonesia/malaysia/singapore
products....hahaha
even so, taiwan ppl are smart - they will put made in czech republic instead

10 USD...you are getting ripped off.
After I read the news on yahoo.com.tw that there was a guy using clone
battery in his phoen lost his ear from battery explosion, I bought a
bunch of batteries from eBay to run some testing, the average price was
4 UK pounds per battery.

There is no doubt OEMs are moving to cheaper countries, soon they will
all be Made in China.

By law if they assemble the product in XXX country, they can stamp it as
Made in XXX.
