Well, maybe not used.

     Been looking at an Ericsson T616 that's being offered on EBay. For
various reasons, I really can't get locked into a contract at the
moment.  So I'm looking at getting an unlocked phone.  Yes, I could get
one of those pay-as-go phones, but I'd like something nicer.

     That said, I have a couple of questions:

       Is there any way I can verify that the phone hasn't been
       reported stolen or lost and hence, blocked by the carriers?

       Is there a way to check that the phone is indeed carrier
       unblocked?
