From my quick look at maps looks like its a no brainer with Cingular. But does
Tmo roam on this network for free? is it 850 vs 1900?.
Any first hand experience.
Cheers

The Caribbean is a problem area for everyone. There are so many different
little countries, each with it's own independent cellular system. The two
companies that may have the upper hand for coverage are Cingular (BellSouth)
and AT&T. Both of these companies have a TDMA + GSM roaming solution and
both are members of the PARC (Pan American Roaming Coalition). Having said
that, you may not want to know what roaming with these carriers would cost.
(If you must ask....) In many ways the best solution for the Caribbean area
is Globalstar.
