I have an unlocked Sony Ericsson T68i tri-band which is GSM 1900,
1800 & 900. We'll be travelling to Switzerland next month and need a
prepaid phone card or something to use for two weeks while we're
there. What's the best deal going and where do we buy it? I assume
you buy a SIM of some sort. I'm not too familiar with the workings of
GSM and all.

Imho the best swiss prepaid sim card is Sunrise. You can buy it in
every Sunrise shop (every city has one)

Thanks! Can you give me some idea how much they cost? We'd need to
make maybe 30 minutes of local calls for two phones (between us in
Switzerland) and maybe 30 minutes worth of calls to the US.

Wow. More complicated than I thought. And more expensive too. T-
Mobile is $.99/minute roaming on Orange, Swisscom or Sunrise. Most of
the prepaid rates seem to be about $.80/minute (converted from Swiss
Francs) not including setup charges. Is that about right?
