I own a 3650. Nice phone, idiotic layout. What's next? Nokia will
build a Qwerty keyboard into a mobius strip because they think it
"looks cool"?
While I managed to get sort of used to it, I suspect I could use it
more effectively if I smoked whatever Nokia's design team was smoked
when they came up with it...
I should've waited for the 50's replacement, which I hear uses a
"standard" key layout.

Nah, it'll have a rotary dial. ;-)

Actually, Nokia has come out with the 3660 which is the design they
should have come out with in the first place. Keypad is the standard
3 X 4 keypad i.e.
123
456
789
*0#. Also 65K colours rather than the 4096K on the 3650.
I don't know what it is with Nokia and their design team. Who thinks
of these goofy keypads. The 3595 is strange with two numbers on each
key, the 3100 looks just plain weird. I wonder if Nokia has some sort
of internal contest among their designers to see who can come up with
the weirdest keypad!
