Best cellular carriers in Austria and Poland?

I'm planning to buy SIM cards for the t-Mobile network in Austria and
Era network in Poland, but would like recommendations about these
networks and suggestions if there are networks that are preferable.
In Austria, I will be exclusively in Vienna. In Poland, I will be
traveling between Krakow and Zakopane. My Sony Ericsson will probably
be using the 1800 band. Please let me know if my plans are correct or
if there is/are better alternatives. Thanks.

check on "my" website (www.prepaidgsm.net) if you can have a better
solution for your trip...
