I'm not able to connect to internet with a serial datacable on the siemens
M35.
It will syncronize the adressbook and also send SMS but when I try to
connect to my provider it returns a error msg "not able to connect".
I tried everything what's possible with no luck.
Can anybody tell me if there are differrent typ of cables?
regards CB

Cheap cables can be unreliable.  For my S25, I've got a genuine
Siemens cable, as well as a cheap one.  The genuine cable works
with all software, whereas the cheap cable works only with
certain software.  The PC might not be seeing DSR or DCD from the
phone because the signal on that pin is out of spec, for example.
