can you be more specific as to the nature of the problem?

The battery will come off a fresh charge. It will be at 6/6 bars. I
will leave it on standby and an hour later it jumps to 4/6 bars.
Another half hour later and it's at 2/6 bars. I can then turn off the
phone, turn it back on, and the meter returns to 6/6 bars. Also, it
won't go down in increments of one (i.e. 6 to 5 to 4) it just jumps in
increments of 2 bars. It only started doing this after I took it into
Verizon to get the software updated.
DM,
No, Motorola has not addressed the 'problem' with the two CDMA software
updates over the past`year. The 'solution' is to power off the phone either
once a day, or when you want an accurate update of the meter. I turn mine
off each night, if I remember, and it has not been a problem. Also, I
charge mine on the same schedule reagrdless of battery condition. These two
factors have made it a non-issue.
