Some days ago I bought a new V600 "branded" by TIM (Telecom Italia
Mobile) service provider, and found modified firmware installed on it
by TIM itself, including different menu options, special functions and
limited modifications allowed for some features.
Does anybody know hot to flash my phone ROM and install standard
Motorola firmware? Where can I find firmware files to install? What do
I need (hardware and/or software) to do this? Shall I bring my phone
to service center or can I do it myself?
Thank you, anybody, for your help!!!

There's really no "standard" as every operator has their own s/w. Otherwise
the languages, prompts, icons, WAP and MMS settings wouldn't be there.
Operators even have specific compatibility settings for the network to
maximize search times and battery life.
If theres a particular oper you will use that phone one primarily, then use
their service shop to flash the phone.
