Caller ID Problem with T720

My caller ID always adds a 1- to all incoming numbers. It even does this
with local numbers making it difficult to dial back that number. Any one
know how I correct this?

Where are you located?
I put everyone in my phone book as 1+ so no matter where I travel it always
works. Even in my home city. Never heard of a GSM system not liking a 1.
