there seems to be not much info out there yet on the v60s and I want
to buy a faceplate online and most sites don't even list the v60s.
Anyone know if faceplates from any of the previous v60 series will
work?  If so which ones?

TIA

Susan Gentry

p.s. I tried to order one from Verizon and they emailed me and told me
they no longer stocked them

They are the same but keep in mind the standard battery for the V60P is
thicker than the V60S!

... but the thinner standard battery locks into the V60s without the rear
cover in place (i.e., there is gap between the battery and cover) -- there
is a spring-loaded tab that holds it in place on the bottom.  The VZW
website shows the dimensions of the V60s and V60p to be identical.  The
bottom line is that the V60p faceplates will work, and they don't change the
dimensions of the phone.  They available both in VZW stores and directly
from the Motorola website (in addition to countless third-party websites).

The phones are not the same thickness out of the box.  The V60S when shipped
had a thin battery and a thin back and the V60P had a thicker battery and
deeper back cover.
