The V60p (and posibbly other phones in the V60 series) has an "Attach
Number" calling feature.  The user's guide (p. 56)  tells briefly how
to use this feature, but it does not say what it is for.

Can anyone give me an example of what this feature is for and when one
would need it?

Thnx.

I use the feature when making long distance calls with a prepaid long
distance card. I have saved the long distance access number and p.i.n. into
my phone book and then each time I need to call long distance I attach the
number I want to call.  This prevents me from having to manually enter all
the numbers each time.

I don't know if its used for anything else - this works fine for me.
