Got bluetooth working, can edit phone book but not much else
Using mobile phone tools, if I move a .wav file to the phone's 'audio'
folder, then that .wav file shows up in multimedia/sounds. If I play it I
get 'file contains unidentifiable information' and no sound. The .wav does
not show if I go to settings/ring styles, even though all the other sounds
from multimedia/sounds are in there
Should the sounds be in some other format? Why is all this information not
properly documented by Moto? What about mp3s as ringtones? It's been said
it's possible but I bet nobody knows how.
In mobile phone tools if I go to MMs studio or melody studio 99% of the menu
items are greyed out (like file/new for example)

The sound can be midi or mp3.
Try uploading mp3 file just like you did with .wav. Of course it is possible
and it works perfect.

You're completely correct. Thanks. Tragically for all concerned, and thanks
to you, my ringtone is now the first 30 seconds of Sugar Sugar by the
Archies. Kill me somebody!

I'd love 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' as a ringtone...
