Finally got my 270c back from Motorola for the firmware upgrade. S/W
version 2203.01.35.

So if I understand, I go to Settings, connection, bluetooth link,
handsfree, <put headset in pair mode) then scan all on the phone?

I've done this with two headsets, Jabra and Step Communications.

Is this the right steps? I've heard the latest Verizon firmware
doesn't have BT, but if I have the above, does that mean I'm doing
something wrong, or...?

Thanks.

Evan

Wow..

Looking on Motorola's website:

http://www.motorola.com/mdirect/software/ss_html_docs/bluetooth/Configuring%20th
e%20Motorola%20270c%20with%20the%20Jabra%20Bluetooth%20Headset.pdf

Says
"Configuring the Motorola 270c with the Jabra Bluetooth Headset.

Currently, this configuration is not supported. Both the phone and the
Jabra headset, are Bluetooth 1.1 compliant but they will not
communicate consistently with each other. They will often times find
each other but will not pair properly and connect. This information
has been confirmed by Motorola as well as Jabra."

Is this current? I can't believe this..

I HOPE this isn't the case, as I have a Jabra freespeak headset.

I am also having the same problem. I thought my phone was working fine with
my Jabra Freespeak Headset. But it seems to disconnect when it is left in
standby mode too long. Must be Motorola's way of getting people to buy their
headset.
