Motorola V300 Text Messaging problem

Just upgraded from a Motorola V66 to V300 & have been having some
problems w/text messaging. Im using T-Mobile service & have talked to
numerous tech support people there. The problem is that I am not
consistenly receiving the text messages sent to me. Others have no
trouble receiving my text messages, but theirs do not get through to me.
Sometimes there is an hour or hour an a half delay, other times the
messages do not get through at all, & sometimes they work fine. I have
discovered that when someone sends me a text message & it doesnt come
through, if I make a phone call, the messages show up. Then they work
fine for awhile, or they dont. I am messaging other people who are also
using T-Mobile service. My signal is fine, Ive powered off & back on, do
not have a large backlog of messages on my phone, etc. Have checked all
the settings via T-Mobile tech support, everything looks good. No
outages or anything. Plus, I put my SIM card back into my Motorola V66
to test it, & the V66 gets messages immediately. Im very frustrated
w/this & am wondering if anyone else has had this problem w/this model.
T-Mobile is sending me a replacement phone of the same model (V300), &
Im really hoping its a problem just w/this individual phone, because I
really like this model.

Anyone w/similar problems or ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like a phone issue to me, and since you have T-mobile it wouldn't
be too difficult to replace the phone (just put SIM card in).  I would
go to one of their locations if near by and see if you could try your
sim in another phone...not sure how they are about that there...I've
been permitted here few times so give it a try.
