I just purchased the v400, and I am having a hard time setting the
1-touch dial keys.  This is my first Motorola phone, I am more
familiar with the Nokia.  Do I have to transfer my #'s from my SIM
card to the actual phone in order to assign them?  This SIM card thing
is all new to me, so I don't quite understand it.  Any help would be
greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

You can one-touch dial from the SIM card. Keys 1 through 9 will
automatically dial SIM card entries #1001-#1009.

Make sure you go into Menu - Settings - Initial Setup and change
"1-touch dial" to SIM.
