I have a good phone with a scratched up case and a bad phone with a good
case. I'd like to switch cases but can't see how to take them apart without
breaking them.

thanks

It has been a couple years since I saw the tech do it, but he unscrewed the
antenna (special Moto spanner tube, but skinny pliers might do it) and then
was able to pry the two sides apart effortlessly.

A small screwdriver in one of the slots will take the antenna out if
it's not too tight.  As far as prying it apart, yes, if you don;t
break the tabs.  Seeing one apart first would help.  Since the OP has
one with a scratched up case, that should be the one he tries to open
first.  (Bottom of the bottom half first, top of the top half first,
IIRC.)
