If you have a V60s and have experienced (or are concerned about) the
well-known problem of missed calls when you had a good signal and were
not on a call, a simple fix has been found.    (Some people have said
this problem may also exist on the V60p.)

It is posted in a thread titled "This is how to duplicate the V60s
missed calls problem" on Howard Forums (HoFo) at

be sure to include everything between the angle brackets when pasting
it into your browser.)

Others in the thread on HoFo have tried this fix and have confirmed
that it works and they now cannot duplicate the problem.  Sorry so
many of you returned a V60s because of this problem.  It's a decent
plain phone with a great speakerphone.

Mystery solved!

In summary, make sure the "key volume" is not 0 (1 will do).
