As a point of reference, my Verizon 270c phone is running s/w version:
2101.03.28.05, and Bluetooth has been working fine. It connects to a Plantronics
BT headset, a Motorola BT PCMCIA card, and a D-link USB BT adapter w/o any
problems.

Looking forward to the V710...

That may be true and I dont doubt it.But just because your phone has a
VERIZON sticker on it doesnt mean it is running Verizon firmware. But you
didnt get that flashed from a Verizon phone center. Verion still has an
offical "We dont support Bluetooth stnd". And if it was flashed by a Verizon
center, it still is Verizon approved firmware. This has been a big
controversy for some time. In fact, there has been problems with people
sending Verizon stamped 270c's or 270c's with Verizon firmware in to
Motorola, and Motorola refusing to put the Bluetooth enabled , Non Verizon
approved Fimware on the phones. There has been lots of conversation of this
fact at alt.cellular.bluetooth

HelloMoto took the 270c adaptors a few weeks back. Perhaps that is why the
Motorola Bluetooth headsets are at good prices. If you PDA or anyone knows
who may have a few 270c Bluetooth modules, let me know.
