So, how exactly do I transfer mp3s to the V300? Do I need that $100
connecting cable to the PC? I read someone used Bluetooth ?? to upload
stuff to their phone? Sorry for asking, but the documnetation for the
phone is horrible...

Quite interesting -- but does that help a V300 customer?

V300 doesn't have bluetooth. You're gonna need a cable.

Thanks for the help guys. Are the data cables on ebay reliable? I've
read in previous threads that they aren't? Where's the cheapest place to
get a data cable?
Thanks again!

I bought a non OEM USB data cable from Ebay for my V300. Hard to
believe, but the price was 50 cents plus shipping. It works fine with
Mobile Phone Tools. I've been able to transfer pictures and mp3's
from my PC to the phone. The sellers id was "everydaysource". The
description didn't mention that it was compatible with the V300, but
it did list the T720. I figured 50 cents was worth the gamble.
