Hi there ...

i bought the V525 for a while now and i still don?t know how to activate
the sms status reports. when i open my outbox i can see the status that says
that the message (sms) has been sent but that?s not the sames as received. i
had a nokia before and with that phone there was an option available that
allowed me to receive a message status report when the sms arrived to the
destination.

anyone knows how to activate this or if this is available in this phone?

 thanks in advance ... cheers

When you send the message, there is an option to turn on a status report
after you've added the names of the recipients.  I've not found a way to
make the default to get a report - yet..........

No worries, here it is from the top:

Create Message
New Short Msg
<enter banal message to friend about Cricket, lack of football talent at
White Hart Lane, or similar>
OK
Select Friend/Add
Done

On this screen, entitled "New Short Msg" are 4 fields,Msg, To, Subject and
Receipt.  Receipt is the one that is set to No by default and which gets you
a status report sent to you when the message is delivered - or when it can
not be delivered.

Go to the Receipt option, select the Change option and change the No to Yes.

Hope that works for you,

Jeremy.

Personnaly I don't have the Receipt field.
I thought it was a matter of network but I remember having an option the
like on my old nokia. I receive an acknowledgement message when people
received mine.

Is there something to enable in the options (settings) ?
