Enter the TESTMODE by pressing FNC 00**83786633 STO FYI the number spells
TESTMODE so when typing you can remeber in the future.Then, if all is right,
you will be in TESTMODE, (bunch of numbers flashing) Then press #38# and it
will display ESN.How this displays it, 2 digits at a time. When the first
set comes op you will see 00 then 2 digits those are 1st 2 Digits of ESN
tehn press * and you will see 01 and 2nd two digits, press * you will see 02
and 3rd set of digits and press * and you get 02 and the last set of digits.
Then after you scroll through again, write down and make sure, just power
OFF. So for instance if this is what you got
00..... 82
01......00
02......FA
03......00
The ESN of your phone is 8200FA00 Have a nice day. And do yourself a favor.
Get in and get out. Change the wrong settings and may just not matter that
you have the ESN, if you get my drift. ENJOY

it should be under your battery in both DEC and HEX formats.
If all else fails, use your nifty windows calculator in scientific mode and
convert HEX to DEC.

I have one that has it this way the other one does not. I sent the HEX ESN
to someone and they converted it and all is well now.
