Picture Caller ID: I've saved several photos and assigned them to
phone numbers.  However, it seems that the only time the Picture
Caller ID works is when you have your phone already open and someone
calls.  And even then, the photo only appears until you select
"Answer".  I would have assumed that the person's photo would remain
in the screen the entire time during the call.

When you have your phone closed, and the person calls, the picture
caller ID function doesn't apply as you open your phone to answer the
call.

Am I missing something?

Thats correct, the phone is against your face, so why have the photo
present?  Okay, perhaps it would be nice to keep it up if using
speaker phone, but I dont really see a problem with the way it is now.
BTW, I beleive that it will show the photo if you deselect "open to
answer".  Then when the phone rings and you open the flip, the picture
will be displayed, but you would have to hit a key to answer the
phone.
