Does all your info/settings/phonebook get wiped? Do you then have to also
re-activate your phone. The handbook for the V120 gives me zero info. about
that.

I'm not an expert, but i think the data will remain for at least some
period of time. I've taken the battery out of my phone on more than
one occasion and have not lost any of the data. The ESN and other
vital info is flashing into the chip and will not be erased by battery
removal.

I've taken the batteries out of my numerous 120's and have never lost any
programmed information. I just went upstairs and put a battery in one that has
been dead for a month, and everything is still in there.
