Cingular Phone Software Removal

Is there anyway to remove the Cingular software built into a V400? I
have tmobile, but I'm using a Cingular v400, and i can't get WAP or any
of the annoying Cingular bullcrap that came with the phone to go away.

I think its software will need to be upgraded by professionals. I recommend
you search Internet for "V400 unlocking" as normally those guys who do
unlocking can also upgrade the phone.
