Motorola v525 : Items Going Missing - another variant

Guys & girls I start to hate Motorola. Never have I seen a mobile that's got
so many bugs and rarely have I seen a homepage being as little as useful as
this one, and this not only because almost every 3rd link leads to "error
404 - page not found".

Ok here's my current problem:

was moving some pics on my V525 to another category and renaming them  when
the phone suddenly switched of and after restarting all the pics I have had
put on the phone had vanished. But not enough of that, the memory used by
those pics is still in use and I found no way to clear it. Means I lost
about 1,5 MB of my phones memory. In contrast to NICK's problem (see post
"Motorola v525 : Items Going Missing") the background pic - which had been
one of the uploaded as well - vanished too.

So here is the question: does anyone know a way to either clear the memory
or make the pics reappear?

Thx in advance ... Andrej

You have to do Master Clear
Settings-Initial setup-Master Clear
Do backup before.

Another (not perfect) way is sending empty files with names and extensions
of those you lost to phone.

You have problems probably because of old firmware. I had similiar problems
with v300 before. After flashing, everything is perfect.

Thx ...
Master Clear did work ... got to transfer phonebook again and do all the
setting etc. but c'est la vie :-). I'd love to flash it but unfortunately
got no Data cable just Bluetooth. As far as I know flashing doesn't work
with Bluetooth. Nevertheless, do you know where I new firmware from ?

regards, Andrej
