I don'thave voice mail  set-up with my phonecompany.However,when
people call, they get my voicemail and leave a message. When I turn my
phone on a get a  messag esaying I have voice  mail...ofcourse, I have
to have a password to get them. However, I don;t want the service. How
can I disable the voice mail so people do not get an opportunity to
leavea voicemail.

Thanks,
Bill

It sounds like your service includes voicemail whether you want to use it or
not.  How about recording a message that says "Don't bother leaving a
voicemail message since I won't listen to it anyway."  Or your message could
refer callers to another phone number or voicemail that they should use
instead.

Ask your wireless carrier to disable the VM forwarding on your account.
