V600 Release date in U.S.

Will this phone ever be released in the United States? It was
supposed to be issued in the second half of 2003 and now we are
approaching the second quarter of 2004. What is the release date?

It's elusive at best. Word from AT&T is early next month but they say
that every month. I got tired of waiting and bought one online.

Just buy one in Europe over the internet. They're all quadband (850,
900, 1800 and 1900 mhz), so the frequencies schouldn't be a problem.

I hope that's right, since that's one of the reasons I bought the phone
here in the UK, that it should work almost anywhere in the world.
