I have heard good things about the T731's reception and am considering
switching my phone (under US Cellular service) from an LG VX4400 for this
reason. The LG drops calls when i am in my basement office or often cannot
find service.

Anybody with experience with both phones or who can vouch as to the
supposedly great reception with the T731??

I need to decide on this Monday April 19.

Thanks

Harold

I know it's late, but:
I recently switched providers, and in doing so aquired this phone.
Aside from the antenna sometimes not snapping into place upon
extension (I'm always afraid of ripping it out!) the reception has
been extremely well. I've compared notes with other users in my
neighborhood, and the network isn't so much a problem as the phone's
ability to recieve it-and T731c seems to be a very dependable handheld
in this mountain area of metro Phoenix.  At least I don't have to go
in my backyard, in the northeast corner, and stand facing east like I
did with my last phone here :]
Granted, you can't talk from inside a bank vault on it, but it's been
very good in closed areas, below ground a bit, and well inside large
office buildings with no echo or dropped calls to date.
