A few bits of information that I have gathered as I have beed connecting and
setting things up. Hope it's useful to someone.
*** GETTING CONNECTED ***
To connect you will need a USB Bluetooth Dongle.
Go to www.kelkoo.co.uk and search for USB Bluetooth Dongle, which should
cost you no more than ?20
Plug in your dongle and install the software that comes with it. Don't
expect much from the software, it's the dongle drivers that are of the most
importance.
Head over to www.motclub.com (Spanish website) and download the Motorola
Phone Tools. Download both versions 1.23 and 2.16 as the latter is an
upgrade to the previous. After installing this you can do a live update to
the current version. All for FREE, which is good news.
In most cases I would suggest that you steer clear of "OBEX File Transfer"
as it will crash Explorer, with little reason.
*** FINDING & UPLOADING RINGTONES ***
For ringtones I suggest that you search on google for the following,
replacing the artists and title as you see fit. The artist/title in quotes
means that you want that exact phrase (so make sure you spell it right) and
the addition of the -ringtone and -polyphonic will exclude a majority of the
ring tone websites that will charge for the service.
midi "Queen We Will Rock You" -ringtone -polyphonic
Go through a few of the links and find a suitable MIDI file (have a listen
to them) and upload to your phone with the Motorola Phone Tools
*** UPLOADING GAMES ***
There are a bundle of games available from www.motclub.com (the games link
is http://www.motclub.com/motomedia/categories.php?cat_id=12 and for your
benefit "Juegos" means "Games" in English) which you can download. You will
be expecting to find a JAR file. Open up "My Bluetooth Places" and search
through for "OBEX Object Push" ... drag'n'drop the JAR file on here and your
phone should pipe up and ask if you want the connection and then to install
the file.
Be aware that not all games will work ... and that even when they do, some
aren't worth the effort. I have downloaded about 20 games and only kept
about 6 of them. Installed games can only (as far as I can see) be deleted
from the phone itself.
*** PICTURES ***
The same as ring tones really. Download them and send to the phone ... keep
them small (suitable for your phone display). No point in putting a 500Kb
JPEG on your phone when it displays a tiny picture. Something around 300 x
300 pixels mark will do you nicely, and will only be around 30Kb at most.
Guys (and ladies too, if you're interested), if you want a naughty picture
for your wallpaper that will catch the attention of anyone that sees it, may
I suggest finding photographs taken by "Rankin and Bailey" (should be plenty
on the net). These two guys specialise in erotic art taken in a perspective
that is supposed to make it look interactive with the camera. You'll see
what I mean.
Anyhow,
Have fun with your phone.
You're welcome to reply if you wish and I will post this ... along with any
new findings as I go along. Just like to try and help out where I can.
Cheers.

For those of you having problems sending JAVA games to your V525 I have
suffered the same problem but seemed to of resolved it so only fair that I
help you out and have therefore put some instructions together which I have
passed to others and they say they have worked. Please accept that they may
not for you but try them a few times before giving up.
They are basic and are based on you already installing Bluetooth dongle and
being able to confirm that the connection is there between phone and pc as I
hope you have successfully sent ringtones/mp3 and photos to your phone from
your desktop.
Here goes:
You should have an icon in the status bar of the PC next to the time. DOUBLE
CLICK IT. You should see "Motorola phone OBEX object push" this is not
normally the obex file you drag and drop the games into. Once you are they
anyway on the left-hand side of your screen should be some options, one of
these should be "View devices in range" CLICK IT. If you have previously set
up the Bluetooth correctly then it should show your phone in range. You
would need to make sure that the phone has Bluetooth powered on.
CLICK ONCE on the icon of the phone and on the left you should see some more
options and one which says "discover services" CLICK IT.
This will then bring up another set of icons which you think you have
already seen, but here is where you drag & drop your .jar files into the
"OBEX OBJECT PUSH ON MOTOROLA PHONE" and then it will attempt to connect to
the phone and install the games.
To place mp3 files onto the phone you should be able to right click from the
desktop and send to......works for me however I do have to make the files
smaller like into a size of about 150kb and a bit rate of about 64kbps. I
use mp3 splitter each time and work really easy with instructions
