With my Windows 98 laptop and Starfish / TrueSync software, I could
dial my ISP and connect to the Internet, using my StarTac 7868 phone
-- no problem.
However, my new laptop has Windows XP, and the TrueSync software
doesn't seem to work on it.
Mobile Phone Tools appears not to recognize the StarTac CDMA phone,
only the newer models.
Is there software that will let me use this phone to make a modemless
connection using Windows XP?

TruSync runs fine on XP. Make sure the software is installed BEFORE you
plug the phone into the USB port or it won't work. If you plugged the
phone in first, then unplug, uninstall TruSync, reboot, install TruSync
again and ONLY THEN plug in the phone.
