Ebuyer UK are selling a USB data for the Motorola V730. As far as I am aware
this phone isn't even available in the UK!
I just wondered if this data cable would be compatible with my V600,
basically because its well cheap!!

Anyone know for sure?

Cheers

Hey Steve, no clue on your answer BUT I did buy a Data/USB cord for a V600
off ebay for $ 0.06 plus shipping.  YES, 6 American pennies.. lol.  So
basically the thing cost me under $ 7.00 US.  I'd suggest looking on Ebay
for it.  Good Luck!  Any questions... just ask!

Hi:  Do you need special software (ie: Mobile Phone Tools) with this
cable to transfer photos? I've seen that cable on eBay and will
probably buy it.
thanks.

Yes, its usually a USB cable that adds a COM port.
The Motorola Phone Tools will allow you to upload/download ringtones &
pictures, upload games and MP4 vidz
You can backup your phone book, send SMS's etc.

You can also do this over Bluetooth, buy a USB Bluetooth Dongle for about
?10-20 from eBay.

Download the early version of phone tools 1.23c ?
Then upgrade using the version 2 software.
Then just do live updates.
