Can I clip a brief bit of a .WAV file and send it to my V400 to use as a
ring tone?  How?  So when my Granddaughter calls me, her voice says "Hi
Grampa, it's Melissa".  I use DataPilot to compose and move ring tones to my
V400 via their data cable.

Paul, just download Music Match.  Voice track her greeting in Wav format
then use Music Match or what ever program to transfer into MP3 format.  If
that is too much work for you just email me back and I'll take care of it
for you.  It's easy as pie!

That could be just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Thank you for the help.  I'll do it myself, and if I get stuck I'll contact
you directly via email.

dbPowerAmp is a great PC tool for file conversions.

Just right-click and "convert to" ... select "MP3"

Easy
