It says not available. Is *#9999# the code for checking s/w version?

That feature is not always enabled in every flex. If its not enabled for
your phone, you can enable it yourself through seem editing.
Seem 0032_0001 offset 37 -bit 1: *#9999# from home screen shows "Other
Information" menu (1 on, 0 off)

You can also view the software versions through the Settings, Phone Status,
Other Information menu
