Go to the Settings Menu and select Initial Setup. Check the 1-Touch Dial
settings and select either SIM or PHONE depending on where your address book
is stored. I have mine on the Sim and it was set on Phone. After I made the
switch my 1-Touch Dial worked.

Thank you Steve, I have done the 1-touch setting, all my numbers ar
saved on the sim and I have the phone set to "sim".  What I am havin
trouble with is assigning the numbers I want to each of the nin
available locations.

IE. I want my Son's phone # on #2, home on #3 ect.

For the life of me I cannot seem to get the number
assigned...........must be dumb or something.....

Where or what steps do I take to assign the phone numbers to the on
touch keys?

TIA

As an example view your Son's phone number and see what the memory location
is. You can change this. I believe that the numbers that are on the sim are
location 1002, 1003, 1004, etc. Try using one of the numbers and see if it
works. Don't use location 1001 which is reserved for voice mail retrieval.
