got mine from Germany (look on ebay.de) ...came sealed in plastic ...branded "MaxxCell" and says "up to 1500mAh" on it.  Charged in desktop charger overnight.  On first charge, already over double the duration with my normal usage.  Only thing, the plastic over the top edge hangs on the clip inside back cover.  I cut that away (about 1mm of stuff around 3mm wide) and seems easier to insert/remove.  Will update as I use it.

Thanks for the update. There doesn't seem to be a US distributor for
MaxxCell batteries, but this eBay seller lists models for various other
types of phone and other equipment. There is a high capacity Li-Poly cell
for the Vxxx phones too, so I ordered one and will try it out.

I'm sure you could - but not with the battery. There's been a fair
amount of feedback on these at motomodders and Hofo and nobody's had a
bad word for them yet.  I've had mine for a couple of weeks and they
work great - better than double the life of the stock battery.

Searched ebay.de for MaxxCell and their three pages of batteries, but
didn't see any flat batteries that should fit a Nokia phone.  Are you
referring to a round battery such as an AA or AAA??

I am ordering 100 pieces of the 1900mAh battery for the v3 and will have
them in about 10 days. When I brought in the 1700 mAh ones a few weks
ago they sold out in a one day.  These cost a little more than those but
it's a 12% higher capacity battery.
eBay price will be $26.95 but anybody who buys from here pays $23.95.
Contact me if interested. Remove the obvious fom my address.

What form of payment do you prefer? -- Credit card, PayPal, Money
Order, ...?

I assume the $23.95 is US dollars, or would you prefer an alternate
currency?

Cheers
Norm
