I just got a motorola V551 with cingular. I notice on calls thre is an Echo
like I'm talking in a cave. Is this the phone or the carrier.TIA

That's usually a problem with a particular tower, which should be reported to
the carrier. Try the phone several miles away (to be sure to get a different
tower) to be sure.
