This might be of interest to some in this group. My Files Watcher sends
text message alerts to cell phone or an e-mail address if files or
folder on your system are accessed , changed, created, deleted,
etc.etc. while you are away from the computer.
You tell it which folders (or executable programs) you want to know
about and the app runs quitely in the background without interfering.
It also notifies about launched programs, applications, documents, etc.

Try it at http://www.myPhoneFiles.com

have a great day!

Who else does it send information about my files to?
What security does it have?

It doesnt send out any information about files, just that they were
accessed, i.e. "FILE WATCHER ALERT: suchandsuch.exe launched", or
"somedoc.doc deleted", etc. etc.

It gives you a sense what is going on with the computer if you're not
at it. I actually even use it while I am at the computer to see what
other programs are doing while I work with them (all the temp files
they create etc. etc.)
