I have a couple old Motorola phones, 2 720c and 1 270c(Timeport) I'm going
to list on ebay. I would like to know if anyone can help me completely clear
the memory of these phones. I did a Master clear and a Master Reset ,
however it still shows the phone number listed on the phone. Normally I
wouldn't care , but I ported the numbers to a different service and I still
use them. Any help would be most appreciated even if you can direct me to a
site with some instruction.

Press Menu, then quickly 073887*. At the Enter Security Code : 000000.
Scroll to User Activation, press Select.Nam 1 Press Select. At the MIN and
the MDN Enter 0000001234. This will change the phone no. to 000-000-1234.
Save it and get out.
