Hello,

At startup and end, my Motorola V3 shows a "Hellomoto" startup
greeting, with some sound.

I like to made two changes, but I can not find in the manual how to do
it:

a) How to silent it? No sound when starting or closing phone.
b) How to change the image? I like a simple image with a text inside.
The text will be something like  "in case of lost, please, call
xxx.xxx.xxx"

Any hint is welcome.

Thank a lot.

The Hellomoto screen at start up and shutdown with the colored balloons from
what I read on a lot of forums cannot be changed. The provider animated gif
can be changed by using a program Motokit found at
http://www.planetmotox.net/motox101/flex_create.htm When installed go to
third tab second down and change tio English. Under Mobile tab select
Startup&powerdown style.

Hello,

Thanks for your answer.

I thing Motorola designers should evaluate the advantages of allow
modification of this first screen.
By example, I like to write on it a message like "if telephone lost,
please, call xxx.xxx.xxx".
It is something that saves me some phones and that can not be written
in other phone scrren, because the person who find s the mobile can not
open it without secret key.

Kind regards.
