V325i Hacking Software

I was hoping the Moto phone tools and cable I just ordered would allow me to
access the various phone features from my Verizon V325i, but it will not
always recognize the phone. I see hacking software available on eBay...Is
this software downloadable, and has anyone tried it? Thanks!
