Problem with my v557 phone and MPT

I have a motorola v557 and I have the latest version of Motorola Phone Tools
and When I get to the multimedia screen on my computer in MPT it stops for a
few seconds then it says the phone is disconnected.Please help.

Suggest you remove and reinstall the phone in Device Manager.
