I am not too impressed with certain aspects of Mobile Phone tools
In particular, the data loss that occurs between the phone and the PC

1)    Is there a better tool out there ?

2)    Is there any code in Perl or some other language available to
interface a PC with a Motorola phone ?

Life is hard to believe espically when you phone the
help line that connects you to  someone in india, who
then ask you to please speak slowly as they cannot
understand you, is it because we are speaking english
or are the wanabees at virgin media pulling our chain.

I have been quite happy replacing my Motorola and MPT with a Nokia and
Nokia PC Suite.  Nokia PC Suite connects to multiple phones simultaneously
via Bluetooth.  It has never failed to connect, something I certainly can't
say for MPT.  MPT abandoned my V551.  The latest versions won't work with
it, and BVRP says it isn't supposed to.
